About Us

Hi, we’re Amanda & Marlon, the team behind Furry Walkers.

I (Amanda) started walking dogs over 14 years ago after deciding to leave my busy office manager role to spend more time with my young family — and to finally follow my lifelong love of animals. What started as a small idea quickly became a passion, and today we’re proud to run Furry Walkers as a family business.

My husband Marlon joins us on walks when he’s not working offshore, and even our three boys sometimes tag along to lend a hand. Together, we’ve built a service that’s caring, reliable, and rooted in genuine love for dogs.

Of course, the real stars of the show are our own pups:

Bonnie (Boo Bear)– is our angel dog, she sadly passed away in September 25, she is a huge part of the reason behind Furry Walkers she was my soul dog and will be forever with us.

Emmy (Em Bear)– 11 years old and living with a heart condition, but still as food-loving and spirited as ever.

Mavis (Mavy Moo) – Our newest little addition and a reminder that love always finds its way back. She’s full of curiosity, mischief, and puppy energy, and is already learning the ropes from Emmy. Mavis represents the next chapter of Furry Walkers and keeps us smiling every single day.

Both Bonnie and Emmy are from a litter we bred ourselves — their mum Tammy (lovingly nicknamed Rambo!) was the start of our little family line. Over the years, we’ve also had experience with breeding and raising puppies, which has given us an even deeper understanding of canine care and personalities.

At Furry Walkers, dogs aren’t just pets — they’re family. And we promise to treat your four-legged friend with the same love, attention, and care we give to our own.
